With the Hertz Yellow Card, you benefit from a 15% discount on all car and light commercial vehicle rentals throughout Switzerland, as well as on the Hertz MiniLease car subscription. You also receive a discount of up to 15% on rentals abroad.

You can get your personal Hertz Yellow Card for just CHF 29 per year. If you use the Hertz rental offer, you will benefit with Hertz Yellow from your very first rental.

How it works

To book online via cell phone, use your personal QR code on the Hertz Yellow Card to access the Hertz offer overview. Alternatively, or if you prefer to book via desktop, go to your profile. The URL can also be found on the back of the card. Select the offer for which you would like to benefit from your discount. Your details will be saved for the booking and the discount will be calculated into the total amount.


If you would like to make a booking directly at one of our Hertz stations, you can benefit from your discount by showing your personal Hertz Yellow Card.

How do I use the card abroad?

Book your vehicle using your personal QR code on the card or log in to your profile and show your valid Hertz Yellow Card when picking up the vehicle at the station.

Can another family member use the Hertz Yellow Card?

No, the Hertz Yellow Card is personal and non-transferable.

How can I extend the Hertz Yellow Card for another year?

You will be contacted by e-mail before the expiry date and can easily extend your Hertz Yellow Card for another year via a link. The Hertz Yellow Card is not automatically renewed.

How can I cancel the Hertz Yellow Card?

Cancellation is not necessary as there is no automatic renewal.

What documents do I need to benefit from the discount?

Please use your personal QR code for all reservations or book via your personal profile and show your valid Hertz Yellow Card when picking up the vehicle.

How long does it take before I can benefit from the Hertz Yellow discount?

After your successful registration you will receive a confirmation e-mail to your personal profile, where you can then immediately make bookings with the special conditions.

Can the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards account be combined with the Hertz Yellow loyalty program?

Yes, as a Hertz Gold Member you can benefit from your Yellow discount. In your profile there is a link to the free Hertz Gold Plus Rewards membership with a CDP code that is automatically added to your profile.

How can I see if the discount has already been deducted?

As soon as you have accessed the reservation page via your personal QR code or booked via your profile, you will be shown the discounted price directly.
